The Society has finally received a letter of apology from the Parish Council for the totally unfounded accusation which it published on its website and the time it has taken to respond effectively on this matter.

The Society was formed to repair the damage done to Brill Common by many years of neglect and to restore the wide range of flowers, birds, insects and invertebrates previously present. We are working to achieve this by sustainable conservation grazing with Dexter cattle, through the medium of a ‘Society for the Benefit of the Community’. It is the first in the country to use this format to find a solution to deterioration of a common.
